Best sushi in the Sea to Sky region. Properly cooked rice, excellent rice to fish ratio and perfect temperatures. Most delicate sushi in the area. Will be back and exciting find!

At first I was confused by their menu because I’m used to Japanese restaurants having bento boxes or entrees with salmon or beef. But the 4 of us decided to go with a few appetizers and rolls to share and we were not disappointed. Everything tasted amazing. The soft shell crab was a surprise favorite, the rolls (we got pemby and box) were precise, pretty and so tasty. I have to say I think my mom’s kinpira gobo is better but I’m a little bias haha. Our waitress was so friendly, funny and charismatic she made us want to come back. She works 6 nights a week so you’ll probably get to meet her too!

Really, really good food. The omakase sushi is highly recommended; I was amazed at the quality of the fish, the selection, and the really reasonable prices for what you get. It's authentic and the presentation, too, is fantastic. Kind service despite it being crowded also. Would recommend a reservation in the evenings as it gets packed pretty quickly. Edit: came back 4/5/23 -- it's still just as delicious! Wonderful omakase.

Big city quality sushi ...but in the heart of Pemberton. The view of the snow peaks of Mount Currie from the window while chowing down on some delicious fresh fish really made our day. There’s great table service and a nice hum about the kitchen area. Their menu has a wide selection that justifies multiple visits. We sampled a few of their special rolls, aburi rolls as well as smaller dishes. The rice was well cooked and in great portion to the fish. The takoyaki was piping hot and full of octopus bits. The bamboo shoot salad was light and had a delightful sesame fragrance. The frozen fruit flavoured sakes were also a standout: something between a slushy and a smoothie but as an alcoholic cocktail. If you’re in town and need something filling but not too greasy, then this has got to be it.

Tiny Japanese-owned sushi restaurant in Pemberton. You think it wouldnt be that good here in a small town, but the quality of their sushi is surprisingly good with a reasonable price. I felt like it was better than most places in Vancouver. The only caviat is, that they only have 2 tables that fit 4 each, and the rest are take-out orders, so you would be lucky to find a table during busy times. Stromgly recommended!

Very authentic sushi, simply made and delicious! Went in for a late night dinner close to closing time and our server was amazing(I forgot her name, sadly). We thought we had gotten pork instead of a vegetarian gyoza, and when we questioned it, she took it back to the staff and reconfirmed that it was the correct item-the whole time being very understanding and friendly. Top notch all around; will eat again!
